Zero Ohm Raspberry Pi Workshops for Beginners

By: Zero Ohm Electronics

Get a kick start in the programming and prototyping world with Zero Ohm's Raspberry Pi Workshop, a unique opportunity to get started with the best Single Board Computer (SBC) today in a series of interactive tasks designed to build your basics and set you on a path of Invention. The Workshop provide with a chance to start and familiarize your self with Raspberry Pi 3 by building and Testing 12 circuits that will read sensors, control lights and motors, display information on a screens and more. In addition you'll get to know the the Debian-based Operating System for Rasbperry Pi and How you can install libraries and packages to help you with your programming.

Level 2: Analog Inputs/Output and Sensors In Raspberry Pi

Objectives and Workshop Sequence:

  1. An introduction about Analog Inputs in Raspberry Pi, followed by a brief explanation of what we’ll be doing in the workshop.
  2. An explanation about the first task, which is going to be turning an LED on and off based on existence of light on a sensor.
  3. In the second task, the audience will learn about temperature , and their function. They will connect a temperature sensor and read the temperature of the room with Raspberry Pi.
  4. In the third task, the audience will learn about Humidity Sensors and LCD screens. They build and circuit and read the humidity with Raspberry Pi and display the information on an LCD screen.
  5. In the last part of the workshop, the audience will learn about Analog output. They will use the Raspberry Pi to control the brightness of an LED.
